Peersonally i think dental technology. You will be able to keep you teeth looking nice and great pay!

Samuel, I think you should pursue the career you feel passionate about, and not one that’s purely to pay the bills. There is a lot of scope for marine biology in Australia, with our enormous coastline and important fishing and tourism industries.

  • Lili Hunter says:

I would definitley become a dental technician as opposed to a marine biologist. The employment statistics for a dental tech are extremely good and on average they earn very well over the australian average salary, with opportunities for further advancement and even owning/operating your own lab. The work is considered to be the technical and artisitic side of dentistry as you are restoring function, form and colour to the oral cavity. You also need to have manual dexterity. Check out this australian government based website for information on both these careers, it will give you statistics on predicted growth, earnings, job prospects etc, and can help you make an informed desicion. Hope this helps!
