Question by : Didn’t no that the military trains you to be a dental hygienst?
Is this something new, or do you actually get to train in what you sign up for? If you went in strickly to learn how to be a Dental hygienst Is that all you would do or could they say later, well now that your in here, you can learn to do it in Iraq?
Don’t say talk to a recruiter! had a guy tell me they say anything to get you in there then do what they want.
Someone who actually went in the military and trained for something other than to do battle. A small lady who is not a fighter.

The military will train you to do whatever you sign up for. But no matter what your MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) is, you first have to go through Basic Combat Training, which will give you the basic knowledge and skills to fight on the ground, teach you to shoot your weapon proficiently, and get you physically ready to be a soldier/marine etc. And no matter what you do, you have a place in Iraq or another area. I’m going back to Iraq for the second time. Good luck no matter what you decide to do.
