Question by hehe :) : for anyone that is a dental hygienist or has information on it… please help…?
I am thinking about becoming a dental hygienist, and I would like to know is anyone has any advice for me… I am going to be a senior in high school and have no idea where to go to college… If I become a dental hygienist how many years of college should I take? What classes should I take? I know I should take science and math… And also anatomy. But idk… Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Dental Hygiene is usually a 2 yr, associates program. Make sure you have taken basic biology and chemistry and algebra. Anatomy/Physiology is also a great choice for anyone who decides to go into health science fields. I think most dental hygiene students take classes in mouth and neck a&p, but some programs might also require a&p. In any case, a&p will be a great course to get you prepared.

On a search engine, type in “dental hygiene programs in Massachusetts” or whatever your state is. And see what schools pop up. You might also want to check out your local community college or any college pertaining to the health sciences!!
