Okay so I have the most crappy high school gpa and I have all b’s right now in college. I go to a two year community college for now will a dental school even consider me and if so how high is my chance?

If I became a dental Hygienist and decided to go back to become a dentist would I have to complete an additional four years or just take the required dental classes?

To get into dental school, you need an undergraduate degree (many times in one of the sciences), and a GPA no less than 3.5. Then you take the dental school admissions test and apply to school, just like you would medical school.

While becoming a dental hygienist is not an unusual path to dental school, it is generally a 2 year degree and you will still need a 4 year BA/BS to apply to dental school.
